ARGEN NoeDx CMV qPCR Kit

It is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification assay that is a fluorogenic probe-based PCR test for the quantification of cytomegalovirus (CMV) DNA. The ARGEN CMV qPCR Kit is approved for use with human serum or human plasma collected in EDTA anticoagulant. The ARGEN CMV qPCR Kit is approved for use with the Stratagene Mx3000p/Mx3005p or LineGene 9600 or LightCycler 2.0 or Rotor-Gene 3000/6000 or Applied Biosystems 7500 or the BIO-RAD CFX96 Real-Time PCR Detection System. This kit is approved for use with the ARGEN Viral Nucleic Acid Purification Kit. The ARGEN CMV qPCR Kit aims to assist in the management of patients with chronic CMV infection and to establish a strategy for anti-viral therapy with all relevant clinical and laboratory findings.

 

The ARGEN CMV qPCR Kit uses an internal control that controls quantification standards and nucleic acid purification and amplification to obtain quantitative results. The target region is located in the UL56 gene region of the CMV genome. CMV DNA concentration is expressed in International Units/ml (IU/ml).
